Round Rock is a part of the metropolitan area of Austin.
On July 17, 2014, Blake was driving across a bridge structure when he saw what he thought was a woman who was intending to jump. This structure is 100 feet high. This is equivalent to the height of an 8 storey building. If she had jumped, she would have died.
Blake approached the woman, grabbed her and gave her a hug. He told her "It's not worth it." He held her back and offered to talk to her as long as she wanted. She had told him that no one cared about her.
The Police arrived at the scene and credit Blake with saving the woman's life.

The Good Samaritan comes to the aid of strangers, selflessly. |
Blake has already proven that he has the motivation and the ethics to be a police officer if he pursues this career path. Despite being only 21 years old, he acted in a mature fashion, stepped up to the plate and averted a tragedy.

God bless Blake and all who come to the aid of strangers.
They are the true heroes of our era.
