Francis was called "Iskoy" by his family.

Francis had just returned to Calgary from the Philippines several hours prior to the crash. Christina had picked him up from the airport and took him home to shower. The couple were on their way to buy food for the family when the crash happened.

Francis and his family had spent a month visiting relatives and helping with the victims of typhoon Haiyan which killed many thousands of people including dozens of relatives in their own family.

Francis had graduated in 2012 from Bishop McNally High School in Calgary.

Francis had worked for about a year and a half as a clerk at the Fossil store in Cross Iron Mills mall. His co-workers are devastated over his death.

He was looking forward to taking an accounting course at a local Technical College.
Saint Pedro Calungsod, pray for
Francis

Friends describe him as a great kid with a positive attitude. He was just starting out in life.

Family members stated that Francis always put others first.

Family members in Canada and the Philippines are weeping for Francis. An ocean of tears will be shed for him.

Francis is survived by many loving friends and relatives, including his parents, his three brothers, and his girlfriend.

Pray for all who die at age 20. They barely had a chance to live.

Pray for all who linger and who suffer.

God save us from the drunk and doped up drivers. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Francis is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
