Duraid Lossia - Store Owner murdered in Farmington Hills, Michigan

Duraid Lossia, age 59, died on December 28, 2013, at his store in Farmington Hills, Michigan. 

Duraid was known as "David" to many of his friends. Others called him "Tom". 

He was the owner and operator of Tom's Party Store, which is a small liquor/convenience store. 

At about noon, Duraid was shot in the head during a robbery attempt.  

Cassale Nettles
Cassale Leroy Nettles, age 43, of Detroit, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with this case. 

Duraid Lossia was well known in his community, well-liked and well-respected. 

Friends describe him as a sweet, loving man, who would often extend credit to customers who were short of money. 

Others describe him as a business man, a pillar of the community and a family man.

The local residents are hugely upset over the death of Duraid. They are shocked and appalled that this tragedy took place in their community. 

Duraid is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, and a son and daughter. 

Pray for justice for Duraid. 

God save us from the thieves.  They are killing us, Father. 

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life.

Pray that Duraid is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
