Patrick Hill - Law Enforcement - Michigan

Police Officer Patrick Hill, age 37, died on October 19, 2013, at a local hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

He was a member of the Detroit Police Department. He had 13 years of service.

On April 2, 2013, he was pursuing a murder suspect in a high speed chase. The suspect got boxed in by police vehicles, and opened fire on officers. He wounded one officer. Officers opened fire and killed the suspect.

It is believed that Patrick Hill was inadvertently wounded when shrapnel from a shotgun fire by another officer struck Patrick in the head.

The Police Department and the community is in mourning over the death of Patrick Hill.

Officer Hill’s wife, who is a physician’s assistant at St. Joseph Hospital, took an unpaid leave of absence to care for her husband who remained in a coma from the time he was shot.

Police Officials stated that Patrick was one of the good guys. He did his job and was
Michael, Archangel, pray for
Patrick
respected by his comrades.

Of course this all comes down to Matthew Joseph, age 23, who was the shooter in this tragedy. He had a rap sheet like Judas.

God save us from men like this. They do not value human life.

Patrick will be forever missed by his loved ones.

He is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and his 4 children aged 4 to 16.

Thank you for serving, Patrick.

God save all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and are tragically taken away the next. Amen.

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life. Amen.

Pray for all who linger and suffer. Amen.

Pray that Patrick is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
