Nick was a member of the Hawthorne Park District Police Department and had served as a part time officer for several years. He had previously served with the Cook County Sheriff's Office for 30 years.

Nick is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and daughter.
Pray for all who die in the line of duty. Amen.
Pray for all who fall ill and who are suddenly taken from us. Amen.
Pray that Nick is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
