Keith Crenshaw - Law Enforcement - Mississippi

Officer Keith Crenshaw, age 52, died in the line of duty on October 23, 2013, on a highway near Eupora, Mississippi. 

Keith was a member of the Eupora Police Department. 

Three men were wanted in connection with multiple attempted robberies earlier that morning.  A high speed chase ensued across three counties.  

At about 10:00 a.m., Officer Crenshaw was laying a spike strip on the roadway to disable the fleeing vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle swerved to avoid the spikes and struck Keith.  He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The vehicle then crashed into a metal utility pole. 

One subject was killed in the wreck.  Frank Maye, age 33 and Brandon Johnson, age 26, both of Orlando, Florida, were taken into custody.

Local officials stated that Keith did a fine job and loved his work. He always went the extra mile.  He was an asset to the community.

Keith is survived by many loving friends and relatives.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty. Amen.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Keith is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
