Todd Loik - bullied to death in Saskatchewan, Canada

Todd Loik, age 15, died on September 9, 2013, at his home in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.

Todd had taken his own life. He died two weeks before this 16th birthday.

Todd was a student at North Battleford Comprehensive High School.

Family members stated that Todd had been bullied and tormented for years.

His mother said that Todd wasn't a bad kid. He just wanted to fit in and enjoy life.

The attacks by playground bullies began years ago and then the abuse escalated into non-stop cyber-bullying.

At first he would show his mother what bullies had posted on Facebook, but he later stopped because the posts were obscene.
Saint Maximilian Kolbe, pray
for Todd

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are looking at this case to determine if there was criminal harassment or the uttering of threats.

The Saskatchewan Government is working on an anti-bullying strategy.

Parents in Saskatchewan - where are your brats and what are they doing to each other? Do you care?

Todd is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Kim Loik.

Pray for all who are tormented. Amen.

Pray for an end to bullying and harassment.  It drives teenagers to their graves. Amen.

Pray that Todd is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
