Elio Mena-Lopez - run over twice in Fort Worth, Texas

Elio Mena-Lopez, age 21, died on June 16, 2013, outside a taco shop in Fort Worth, Texas.

Elio was at the taco shop at 4 a.m. when he was hit by a white two-door vehicle with a sun roof driving down the 2700 block of Race Street. The driver left the scene without offering assistance to Elio.

Elio was lying in the street when a red extended cab Chevy truck ran him over at a high rate of speed. The driver of the truck also left the scene without stopping to render aid.

Elio is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Bettie Lykes.

Pray for this poor boy who was struck down not once, but twice.  Amen.

Pray for justice for Elio.  Amen.

God save us from the drivers who mow down everything in their path. They are either drunk and doped up or speeding like a bat out of Hell with no consideration for human life. Who are these freaks?

Pray that Elio is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
