Farouk Haifa - Store Owner - murdered in San Antonio, Texas

Farouk Haifa

Farouk Haifa, age 52, died on April 15, 2013, at his convenience store in the southwest side of San Antonio, Texas.

He was known as Frank to friends and customers.

Witnesses told police they heard four pops that could have been gun shots and then saw a heavy set man wearing a black hooded shirt come out of the store. Robbery is believed to be the motive for this crime. All of this happened before 7:00 a.m.

It has been reported that the store was robbed a week before this tragedy.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP.

Family members are devastated by the death of Farouk. He will be forever missed and mourned.

Farouk had been talking about retiring soon and allowing his sons to continue running the business.

Farouk is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and four children.
