Taylor did not have a criminal record. He may have been involved in a drug operation.

His family moved from Tucson, Arizona to Tsawwassen in 2007. His father, Paul Johnson, is a Baptist Pastor in Delta, British Columbia.

Taylor graduated from South Delta Secondary and was enrolled in the Advanced Music Production program at the Nimbus School of Recording Arts in Vancouver. He was scheduled to graduate this month.
Friends remember Taylor for his infectious smile and willingness to help others. He is also described as bright, funny and compassionate.
Family members state that Taylor was known for his gentle spirit and was well-liked.
In addition to his love of music, Taylor Johnson also had a love of sports. He played rugby for South Delta Secondary School, football at his high school in Tucson and baseball in Tsawwassen.
Taylor is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents and 5 siblings.

I would just like to confirm - Taylor Johnson was a friend of mine, and he IS in heaven, and his path does NOT need to be lit with candles - I think that JESUS can lead Taylor to him quite fine without our help. Taylor was a Christian, he bleieved that Jesus was the only way to salvation, he believed that Jesus is God incarnate and that he died for his sins and rose again conquering death. Please pray for the family, and for the younger siblings who lost their older brother, their hero. These young ones are confused, sad and troubled as to why their brother was taken from them. Please pray for wisdom of the parents on how to guide them in this hard time. And when I say pray, please do so to God himself, I'm sorry but Mary has no pull.
Taylor was not involved in the drug operation as far as anyone knows. He was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time, as reported by the police to the family of Taylor.
Lighting candles is a metaphor for prayer.
Catholics believe in the intercession of saints. There's no need to go on an anti-Catholic diatribe on a memorial site.
The Protestant smart alecks don't want the prayers of the Angels and the Saints.
They have it all sewed up. They know the intentions of God.
Jesus pray for us all. God help us.
Taylor was not involved in the drug trade- he just trusted the wrong people- so we cannot figure out who would murder him and why? His family and friends are devastated - he was well loved and and a kind, gentle fellow. We know he is with Jesus- please pray for justice so that the person who did this is apprehended and convicted and pays for what he has done- it will never bring Taylor back to us though. Rest in peace Taylor- we love you! Xo
