Rachel Price and Jamaree Cook - killed on the highway in Florida

Rachel Price, age 18, and Jamaree Cook, age 19, both of Central Florida, died on February 28, 2013.

Rachel Price
Rachel was driving westbound on U.S. Highway 192 in Osceola County at about 8 p.m. with Jamaree as a passenger.

Randal Kerley, age 47, of St. Cloud, Florida, made a left turn and drove directly into the path of Rachel's vehicle pushing it into a third car. Rachel's car burst into flames, killing both her and Jamaree Cook.

It is alleged that Randall Kerley was driving drunk.

Rachel was a recent graduate of Melbourne High School. She had recently moved to St. Petersburg to attend Eckerd College, where she played soccer and planned to major in marine biology.

Jamaree Cook
Jamaree graduated from Heritage High School in Palm Bay in May. He was a student at Brevard Community College.

Friends describe Rachel as a fantastic athlete and a great person. She will be forever missed.

Jamaree was adopted in 2006, when he was 12. He had a difficult and troubling upbringing before his adoption.  He will be forever missed.

Rachel and Jamaree are survived by many loving friends and relatives.

Pray for all who die young and tragically. They are with us one moment and gone the next. Amen.

Jesus, pray for Rachel and
Jamaree
God save us from the drunk drivers. They are killing us, Father.  Amen.

Let us pray that Rachel is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Let us pray that Jamaree is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
