Three Firemen died in Hangzhou, China

A fire erupted in the early morning hours of January 1, 2013, at the Hangzhou Yusei Machinery Co. in Hangzhou, China. 

The blaze was massive and soon spread across 12,104 square meters of workshops, fueled by flammable materials. 

The fire was attended by approximately 70 fire engines, 6 six ambulances and 238 firefighters. The heat from the fire was so fierce that two fire engines were destroyed.

There are no reports of any workers at the factory being injured but 3 firefighters were killed and 2 others injured. The bodies of the deceased firemen were found trapped.

Deceased in the line of duty are:

Chen Wei, age 22. He was born in Shanghai and became a firefighter 2 years ago. 

Yin Zhihui, age 20. He was from Lishui in Zhejiang Province. He had been a firefighter for one year. 

Yin Jinliang, age 30. He was from Hebei Province. He had been a firefighter for 9 years. He had gotten married just 10 days before his death. 

The Xiaoshan government awarded all three the title of "People's Bodyguard" for sacrificing their lives in the service of others. 

These men are survived by many loving relatives and friends.
