BARBARISM ALERT - Pakistan - 7 more Charity Workers killed

On January 1, 2013, 7 charity aid workers working in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, were killed.
Barbarism Alert -
Pakistan again

Five female teachers and one female aid worker and one male medical technician were returning from a community centre in the town of Swabi in a van. They were employees of a charity group called "Support With Working Solution" (sic) which is heavily involved in immunizations against polio.

Four men on motorcycles stopped the van, removed a 4 year old boy, who was the son of one of the women, and then sprayed the van with gunfire, killing 7. Most of the women killed were aged 20, 21 or 22.

Several weeks previous to this, 9 charity aid workers were killed in Pakistan, also for performing polio immunizations.

Pakistani mourners at the funerals of murdered aid
workers.  Mourning is not enough.  Demand that the
Government of Pakistan steps up and halts the killings of the innocents.
The Taliban is opposed to vaccinations against polio and measles and other diseases because they believe that these Pakistani health care workers are acting as spies for the U.S.A. Some of them also believe that the vaccinations make women sterile.

Of course there is also the other elephant in the room, which is .....that some of these health care workers may mention to the women they are vaccinating that these women should get an education. Say this and the Taliban will kill you. End of story.

Pray for all who give their lives for others. Amen.

Pray for these poor
souls who died because
of coming to the aid
of others.
God save us from the Taliban whose goal is to maintain the poverty, disease and ignorance of their people. They pray without ceasing unto God for a return to the 14th century. God help us.

Pray for the 4 year old boy rescued by the Taliban while they murdered his mother. Amen.

Let us pray that the 16 health care workers recently murdered in Pakistan are in heaven. Let us pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
