Lee Davidson

British soldier Sgt. Lee Davidson, age 32, from Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England, died on September 9, 2012, in the Nahr-e Saraj District of Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

His armoured vehicle struck a roadside bomb and he was fatally injured.

Lee was a member of the Light Dragoons. He was helping to train Afghan police officers. This was his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

He joined the British Army in August of 1998. He had been deployed in prior years to Bosnia and Iraq.

Father, place Lee on the
Road to Heaven.
His wife describes him as the best husband and father and states that he will never be forgotten. Family members describe him as kind, loving and generous.

Military officials describe Lee as a superb soldier and a wonderful man - a natural leader of men and an inspiration to others.

Fellow soldiers describe Lee as a great bloke and a great soldier who talked endlessly about his wife and their two young sons.

Lee is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Samantha, who is expecting a child; and their two young sons.

Let us pray that Lee Davidson is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
