Charles Licato - Law Enforcement - Maryland

Corporal Charles Licato, age 34, died in the line of duty on September 6, 2012, in Darlington, Maryland.

Charles was a member of the Harford County Sheriff's Office. He had 14 years of service.  He was assigned to the Warrant Apprehension Unit.

He was killed in a single vehicle crash on Route 1, in Darlington, shortly before 2:30 am. He had just finished his shift. 

A citizen called 911 to report the crash and responding deputies discovered Corporal Licato's department vehicle. The cause of the accident is not known as of this posting.

Sheriff's Office Officials describe Charles as a one of a kind officer and a deputy who was brave and had no fear. 

Charles is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father, who is a retired Baltimore City Police Officer; and his brother, who also works with the Harford County Sheriff's Office. 

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Let us pray that Charles Licato is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
