Richard Olmo - Paramedic - Texas

Paramedic Richard Olmo, age 44, died on July 3, 2012, near Pipe Creek, Texas.

He was on his way to work at about 8:00 a.m. when he overcorrected after missing a curve on a local highway. His pickup skidded and flipped over, ejecting him. He wasn't wearing a seat belt. He died of his injuries at a medical facility shortly thereafter.

Richard was a member of the San Antonio Fire Department. He had 24 years of service. He had recently been promoted to Lieutenant.
Light a candle for Richard.
Light his way to Heaven.

Fire Department officials stated that Richard will be missed by all who knew him.

Comrades stated that he was a great paramedic who trained scores of coworkers. He was knowledgeable and conscientious about his job and his patients.

Friends said that Richard's family are devastated by his loss.

Richard is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his brother, Eddie Olmo; his wife and his two children.

Let us pray that Richard Olmo is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
