Justin Maples - Law Enforcement - Tennessee

Police Officer Justin Maples, age 35, of Cleveland, Tennessee, died in the line of duty on May 20, 2012.

He was a member of the Cleveland Police Department. He had 7 years of service.

Justin was responding to help a Bradley County officer chasing a stolen Jeep. He was driving on South Lee Highway at approximately 9:30 p.m., when his patrol car left the roadway and struck a telephone pole, severely injuring him. He was transported to SkyRidge Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries an hour later.

Police officials stated that Justin was the type of officer that any Chief would be proud to have in his department. 

Justin is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother and father; his wife, Danielle and their three young sons. 

Pray for all who die in the line of duty. 

Let us pray that Justin Maples is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
