The deaths roll in like thunder and lightning

We first started this blog as a spiritual exercise, because we saw so many sites on the Internet about the deaths of soldiers and the Police and Firefighters....and everyone mentioned them but no one prayed for them. So...we wanted a site that would promote prayer for these poor souls who have died so much before their time. 

We pray that God takes all who are mentioned here into Heaven. Amen

Every death mentioned here
is as shocking as lightning

But.....there are so many deaths now, particularly of soldiers. These deaths roll in like thunder and lightning. Every posting is as shocking as lightning. 

Every time we look at the face of one of these deceased men or women, we are proud of their service.  But we are ashamed of war.  We are ashamed of the human condition. We are ashamed that this still happens in the 21st century. 

Father, do not abandon your world.
Do not forget us. 

God help us to change. We need change so badly. We need a reality check. We need to get with the program of world-wide justice, world-wide co-operation and the realization that we all the sons and daughters of one Father. 

Jesus, Mary and all saints and all angels pray to the Father, for peace and resolution in this world. It is the only world we have. We have to make it work. Amen

Pray without ceasing, unto God, for peace. Amen.

If we forget you, Father, please do not you forget us. Amen.
