Nolan Pittman - Firefighter - Mississippi

Chief Nolan Pittman, age 45, died on March 4, 2012, in Centreville, Mississippi.

Nolan was a member of the Centreville Volunteer Fire Department. He had 25 years of service with the Department.

Saint Florian, Patron Saint of
Firefighters, pray for Nolan
Nolan Pittman and another firefighter fell ill while at the scene of a residential structure fire at 3:30 a.m. He was experiencing heat exhaustion and nausea. Nolan went to the hospital and was ambulatory as he walked into the emergency room, but his condition worsened and he passed away a short time later from a heart attack.

Nolan was known as "Goat" to his friends.

Friends stated that Nolan dedicated half of his life to the town of Centreville.

Nolan is described as a happy, fun man who was dedicated to fire fighting and a man who was well-loved.

Nolan is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Missy and his 7 year old daughter, April.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Nolan Pittman is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
