Kyler Estrada

Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyler L. Estrada, age 21, of Maricopa, Arizona, died on February 14, 2012, as a result of a non-combat related training incident in Djibouti, Africa.

Kyler Estrada, a Navy hospital corpsman, was assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit based at Camp Pendleton, California.

Kyler, also known as Kyle and as "Doc" was apparently killed by a stray bullet during a live-fire training exercise.

Father, place Kyler on the
stairway to Heaven
He was a 2008 graduate of Queen Creek High School, where he was a sprinter and a triple- and long-jumper for the track team. High school officials describe him as a really outstanding young man.

Kyler's wife stated: “For those of you who never met him, you should know he was the best man you could have ever had in your life." She also stated that he was her best friend and her soul mate.

Kyler is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Clarin Saline Estrada; his father and 4 sisters; and his wife Alyssa Estrada.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kyler Estrada is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
