Francis Crespo-Mandry - Law Enforcement - Puerto Rico

Agent Francis Crespo-Mandry, age 55, died on January 18, 2012, in Patillas, Puerto Rico.

Francis was a member of the Puerto Rico Police Department. He had 24 years of service.

He was shot and killed as he and another officer responded to a panic alarm at a gas station in Patillas.

Michael, Archangel,
Patron Saint of the Police,
pray for Francis
As they arrived at the scene they encountered two subjects robbing the gas station at gunpoint. The suspects opened fire on the officers, fatally wounding Agent Crespo-Mandry. One of the suspects was wounded in the ensuing shootout and taken into custody. The other suspect remains at large.

Francis is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife and two children; and two brothers who also serve with the Agency.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Francis Crespo-Mandry is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
