Tom Jennings

British Royal Marine Captain Tom Jennings, age 29, died on December 22, 2011, near Kabul, Afghanistan, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

Military officials describe Tom as a true leader, selfless in his professional approach and serving those who were his responsibility.

Light a candle for Tom.  Light
his way to Heaven.
He is also described as dedicated and humble, with a keen sense of humour even when faced with adversity. While working with the Afghan forces that he partnered, he displayed empathy and a broad cultural understanding that ensured he was highly valued by the Afghans as well as his Royal Marine brothers.

Tom is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and their two young sons.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Tom Jennings is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
