He was the volunteer Fire Chief for the Lewisville Fire Department in Ohio.
Greg responded to a structure fire and while working at a tanker fill site became ill. He was transported to a local hospital where he passed away several hours later from an apparent heart attack.

Gregory Baker is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife of 31 years, Chris Baker; his daughter, Nikki Lude; and his parents, John and Lois Baker, all of Lewisville.
Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Gregory S. Baker is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
