Paul A. Rivera

Sgt. Paul A. Rivera, age 26, of Round Rock, Texas, died on October 22, 2011, in Logar province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered in a vehicle rollover during an attack by enemy forces. 

He was assigned to the 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Hohenfels, Germany.

Paul Rivera joined the military after graduating in 2003 from high school. 

Friends describe him as funny, charismatic, genuine, kind-hearted and deeply religious.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Paul A. Rivera is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
