Charlotte R. Adair - EMT - Ohio

Charlotte R. Adair, age 45, was killed on October 28, 2011, in Lucas County Ohio.

Charlotte was known as "Charlie" to her family and friends.

She was a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician for Richfield Township, Ohio. She had six years of service with the Department.

She was also a sixth-grade teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Swanton, Ohio.

Mary, pray for Charlotte
Charlotte was on her way to work and was off duty when she stopped to assist at the scene of a car accident. She was directing traffic around the crash scene, when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle, despite the fact that she was wearing a reflective vest.

It is uncertain at this time if charges will be laid against the driver of the vehicle which struck and killed her.

Family members said that she was dedicated to helping others in her capacity as an EMT. She was also known for her sense of humor.

School officials stated that she deeply cared for the children under her care as a teacher.

Fire Department officials stated that she was a spunky person, who lit up a room and who was one of a kind.

Charlotte is survived by numerous loving friends and family members including her husband, Craig and her daughters, Cayla, age 18 and Hailey, age 15.

Pray for all who die while going to the aid of others.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Charlotte R. Adair is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen
