Agris Hutrof

Estonian Corporal Agris Hutrof, age 25, died on October 15, 2011, after his unit came under attack in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Agris Hutrof joined the army as a conscript in 2008 and then opted to turn professional. He had been serving in Afghanistan since May 2011.

Military officials describe him as a brave and faithful warrior for Estonia. He is also described as calm, reliable and up-beat.

He is survived by many loving friends and family members including his partner, Juta Meidla, and their children. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Agris Hutrof is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
