1st Lt. Ryan K. Iannelli, age 27, of Clarksboro, New Jersey, died on September 28, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He died in a helicopter crash.
He was assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 269, Marine Air Group 29, 2nd Marine Air Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina.

Ryan was a 2002 graduate of Kingsway Regional High School, where he excelled on the baseball diamond and in the classroom. Ryan also attended Oral Roberts University, an interdenominational Christian school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he also played ball.
Friends have described Ryan as committed, with tremendous character, and spiritual.
Ryan is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Donna Iannelli.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Ryan K. Iannelli is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
