Paul Stuckey - Law Enforcement - Louisiana

Sergeant Paul Stuckey, age 47, died on September 30, 2011, in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. He lived in Zachary, Louisiana.

Paul was a member of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. He had 18 years of service.

Sergeant Stuckey had notified his supervisor at approximately 2:15 am that he had received a report that someone was illegally hunting near St. Francisville.

Angels of God, pray for Paul
A fisherman located his body, next to his truck, at daybreak at an old ferry landing along the banks of the Mississippi River, dead from a shotgun blast to the chest. Apparently the hunter valued illegal hunting over a human life. The suspect remains at large.

Law Enforcement officials describe Paul as a star.

Paul is survived by his wife and three children.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Paul Stuckey is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
