John R. Wimpey Cagle

Lance Cpl. John R. Wimpey Cagle, age 19, of Tucker, Georgia, died on September 28, 2011, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. 

He was assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Light a candle for John. Light
his way to Heaven and for
all 19 year old men who die
in war.  They are only
teenagers.  God help us. 

John was a 2010 graduate of Chamblee Charter High School in DeKalb County.

Friends describe John as full of energy and extremely loyal, with a huge heart.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that John R. Cagle is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
