James K. Crawford

Cmdr. James K. Crawford, age 50, of East Concord, New York, died on September 7, 2011, as a result of a non-combat related incident in Manama, Bahrain.

James Crawford was assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, supporting operations at the Combined Maritime Forces Coalition Coordination Center at Naval Support Activity, Bahrain.

He died from a heart attack while working out and could not be revived.

James Crawford was commissioned in 1988 and was promoted last year. He started work in Bahrain in March 2010. James was a veteran of the First Gulf War in 1991. He was a Navy reservist for 22 years and  in civilian life he was an agent with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency of the Homeland Security Department.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that James K. Crawford is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
