Devin James Daniels

Sgt. Devin James Daniels, age 22, of Kuna, Idaho, died on August 25, 2011, in Helmand province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle using an improvised explosive device. 

He was assigned to the 546th Transportation Company, 82nd Sustainment Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Family members stated that Devin was a wonderful young man who was a good student, good athlete and who was never in trouble. They also stated that Devin loved the military and that’s where he found his home.

They also said that Devin was a loving husband and father. 

Devin Daniels was posthumously promoted to sergeant from the rank of corporal.

Devin is survived by numerous loving friends and family members including his mother, Marnie Summers; father James Daniels, his wife, Samantha and their daughter Olivia. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Devin James Daniels is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
