Nicholas Spehar

Nicholas Spehar, from Chicago, was killed on August 6, 2011, in the Tangi Valley of Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when a U.S. helicopter crashed.

He was a Navy Seal.

Nicholas Spehar graduated in 2005 from Chicago Lakes High School, and he was a successful student who played football, baseball and was on the swim team. Nicholas was one of five children in the Spehar family to graduate from the school.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Nicholas Spehar is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
