Leon H. Lucas Jr.

Staff Sgt. Leon H. Lucas Jr., age 32, of Wilson, North Carolina, died on August 1, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, California.
