Jesse Pittman

Jesse Pittman, age 27, of California, was killed on August 6, 2011, in the Tangi Valley of Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when a U.S. helicopter crashed.

He was a Navy Seal.

Jesse Pittman graduated from Willits High School in 2002 and worked two seasons as a seasonal firefighter for Cal Fire before joining the Navy. Jesse had dreamed of becoming a member of the Seals.

Friends describe him as smart, hardworking and determined.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jesse Pittman is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
