Adan Gonzales Jr.

Sgt. Adan Gonzales Jr., age 28, of Bakersfield, California, died on August 7, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.

Before leaving for Afghanistan in March, he was stationed at Camp Pendleton where he lived with his wife and three children.

Adan had spent five years in the Marines and was a graduate of Ridgeview High School.

He has a wife, Catalina and 3 children - girls 5 and 3 years old and a 1 year old son. 

Pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Adan Gonzales Jr. is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
