Thomas J. Dodds Dudley

Staff Sgt. Thomas J. Dodds Dudley, age 29, of Tega Cay, South Carolina, died on July 7, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. 

He was assigned to Marine Air Group 26, 2nd Marine Air Wing, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Station New River, Jacksonville, N.C.

He is survived by many loving family members and friends including his wife, Mary and children - Taylor, 13, Thomas Carter, 5, and Jenna Robyn, almost 2.

God, the Father, take Thomas
into Heaven. 

Thomas was known as "T.J." by family and friends. He enlisted at age 18. This was his sixth deployment to Afghanistan. 

He is described as a great Marine, a patriot and a great family man. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Thomas J. Dodds Dudley is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
