Thomas A. Bohall

Sgt. Thomas A. Bohall, age 25, of Bel Aire, Kansas, died on May 26, 2011, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Thomas joined the Army in 2005 and had been assigned to Fort Campbell since 2008.

His father stated that "Thomas loved what he was doing. He felt a true calling to serve the way that he served."  He earned several decorations and awards and served in missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Thomas Bohall is survived by his wife, Jessica Bohall of Essington, Penn.; daughter, Annabelle Bohall of Essington, Penn; father, Timothy Bohall of San Antonio, Texas and mother, Lorna Geist.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Thomas A. Bohall is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
