Kevin J. Hilaman

Spc. Kevin J. Hilaman, age 28, of Albany, California., died on June 26, 2011, in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire.

He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Kevin joined the Army on March 7, 2003 as an infantryman and had served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He was on his third deployment overseas. His military honors included the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kevin J. Hilaman is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
