Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Jason T. Pool, age 51, died while undergoing a medical evaluation at Fort Bragg, N.C. in late January, 2011. Jason Pool was serving in the 101st Field Artillery unit. The Fall River native leaves behind his wife, Linda, his daughter, Elizabeth, and two grandchildren.
The cause of death appears to have been from an accidental fall in a wooded area that includes the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Museum in Raleigh, N.C.
Jason Pool served in the National Guard for more than 20 years and most recently was deployed to Afghanistan from January 2010 to July 2010. He most recently worked for the Department of Defense at Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod and prior to that worked as a truck driver.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jason T. Pool is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
