Matteo Miotto

Italian soldier, Matteo Miotto, age 24, was killed on Dec. 31, 2010, in Afghanistan.

for all soldiers

He was in Gulistan, Afghanistan since July of 2010.  He was shot by a sniper in the shoulder and it damaged vital organs. 

Matteo Miotto was born in Thiene (Veneto) and was a corporal under the 7th Alpini Regiment of Belluno, and had arrived in Afghanistan last July. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Matteo Miotto is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
