Lance Cpl. Kenneth A. Corzine, age 23, of Bethalto, Illinois, died on December 24, 2010, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He died of complications stemming from a roadside bombing that occurred December 5, 2010, during combat operations. Kenneth Corzine was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, base in Camp Pendleton. A rifleman, Kenneth Corzine was on his first combat deployment. He had enlisted in 2007.
Family members stated that Kenneth wanted to be a Marine from a young age. Kenneth Corzine was the father of a 3-year-old daughter.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kenneth A. Corzine is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
