He was from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a Marine working as a bomb technician in Afghanistan. Justin Schmalstieg grew up in Stanton Heights and graduated from Peabody High School in East Liberty and was married last year.
He is survived by his wife, his parents and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Justin Schmalstieg is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
