David D. Finch

Pfc. David D. Finch, age 24, of Bath Springs, Tenn., died Dec. 8, 2010, in Wasit province, Iraq, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire. 

He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas.

His awards and decorations include the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that David D. Finch is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
