An Army private who graduated high school in New London, Minn., in 2007 was killed October 4, 2010, in Afghanistan, according to his family.Ryane Clark, age 22, is the son of Rick and Tracy Clark of New London. He was on duty traveling Monday in a vehicle when a rocket-propelled grenade killed him near Shekhabad, south of the Afghanistan capital of Kabul.
Ryane Clark was part of the 57th Engineering Company at Fort Bragg, N.C. He had been deployed in Afghanistan since Dec. 27. He had studied law enforcement at Alexandria Technical and Community College and was an Eagle Scout.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Ryane Clark is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
