Raymon Johnson

A Georgia family is mourning a Marine killed by an improvised bomb in Afghanistan.  Lance Cpl. Raymon Johnson of Columbus was killed October 13, 2010, in Helmand province. The 22-year-old was assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment of the 2nd Marine Division.

His father, Greg Johnson, told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirier that his son was serving as the point man of a security patrol when he stepped on an improvised explosive device. He had been a Marine for three years.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Raymon Johnson is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
