Todd Weaver

1st Lt. Todd W. Weaver, age 26, was killed September 9, 2010, in Afghanistan by an improvised explosive device as he was leading a dismounted area reconnaissance.

He was an Infantry officer assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He joined the Army in October 2006 and arrived at Fort Campbell in April 2009. He was a 2008 graduate of the College of William and Mary and a 2002 graduate of Bruton High School.

"This is very sad news," a spokesman for the College of William and Mary stated...."by all accounts Todd was an exceptional person. While a student, he was a star as a cadet in the ROTC and very well-known by many on campus. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Todd's family and friends."

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Todd Weaver is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
