Sgt. John F. Burner III, age 32, died September 16, 2010, in Iskandariya, Iraq. He was assigned to the 63rd Signal Battalion, 35th Signal Brigade, Fort Gordon, Ga. He was from Baltimore. 

John Burner's death was the result of a medical condition. He leaves behind his wife and two children, ages six and 10. 

John Burner joined the military in 1996 and was in charge of a satellite system crew. His battalion deployed Aug. 21. John Burner lived in Grovetown, Ga., but his family lives in Baltimore. He was promoted to sergeant in April 2005.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that John Burner III is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
