An Army staff sergeant from Clovis, in California's Central Valley, has been killed in Afghanistan. Brian Piercy, age 27, was killed in July 2010 in the Arghandab River Valley when insurgents attacked his unit with improvised explosive devices. He was on his second deployment to Afghanistan.
Brian Piercy was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Brian Piercy is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
