Canadian Sgt. Martin Goudreault, age 35, was killed on June 6, 2010, was near the village of Nakhonay, in the Panjwaii district, Afghanistan, when an improvised explosive device went off about about 6:30 a.m. local time. He was on a mission to find a stockpile of insurgent weapons southeast of Kandahar.He was a member of the Edmonton-based 1 Combat Engineer Regiment.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Martin Goudreault is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
