Dharam Jassar - Store Clerk - Madera County, California

Dharam Jassar
Dharam Jassar, in his early 20's, died on November 13, 2017, at a convenience store/gas station in Madera County, California.

Just before 11:00 p.m., two men entered the store. They took cash and several large boxes of cigarettes. They then fired a number of shots.

Dharam was stuck during the gunfire and, tragically, died at the scene.

One of the male suspects was wearing a black jacket, gray pants, and socks, without any shoes. He had a blue bandana over his face. The other suspect was wearing a black Reebok sweatshirt, black pants, black and white shoes, with a white bandana over his face. He was armed with a silver revolver. Both men were wearing gloves.

Anyone who has any information about this crime, please call deputies at 559-675-7770 or Crime Stoppers at 559-4988-7867.

A funding site has been set up to help Dharam's family with expenses.

Besides working at the store, Dharam was a student at California State University at Fresno.

Friends describe Dharam as a hard-working young man with a friendly personality. He had his whole life ahead of him.

To the thieves who killed Dharam, we ask this question: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

Dharam's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was loved.
Light a candle for Dharam. Light
his way to Heaven.
He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Dharam is survived by many loving friends and family members who will forever miss him.

Pray for justice for Dharam.

Pray for all who die suddenly. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Dharam is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
